I've been using a digital counter when adding water to my tank and only get about 42 - 45 gallons of water everytime I fill up. I even let water flow out the overflow to try and get all the air out of the tank.... But still only get 40 plus gallons of water.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any tricks?

Two things to remember when dealing with RV tank sizes...
1. The manufacturer will change the size without notice.
2. The fresh water tank size includes the water heater..
