LPG is not as efficient as gasoline but it stores for a much longer time. The DW was not happy when I switched the backup gen to propane. She got used to getting my 30 gallon reserve every fall and alcohol free is hard to find when you need it. That woman is so damn proud that Jersey Girls Don't Pump Gas.
For me, fuel storage life was the biggest factor for going LPG. JM2¢, Hank
