You should have an owner's manual for your slide mechanism. If you don't you can download the manual for your specific slide system from the internet.
As for where to "stick the flex shaft" to operate the slide in emergency situations, that's essentially the same regardless of slide manufacturer. Look at the photos in steps 2 and 3 on page 14 of this manual:

The photos are "self explanatory" and the entire process is explained in detail in the manual. There may be a "small plastic button" covering the 1/4" drive component on the motor. Some motors have the cover, some don't. I think it depends more on handling during installation at Keystone and the dealership service department than on whether the motor was shipped from China with/without the cap.
