As you know the key here is keep flushing water into and out of these tanks. If you do have a solid pile, going to have to dissolve that solid say by soaking and try to break it up. may need more turbulence that what you get from a spray. May be also want to add some form of septic chemical to help dissolve it. To my knowledge you are not going to damage that gray tank, they may even be exactly the same mfg tank
