If you are going to stick with gas stick with the 29MBS. If you do the gas option get the "highest" ratio gear option they offer. The engine, specs and 10 speed are cool but if you kill it with a 3.42? or some low ratio option you might as well not have the engine/tranny combo.

Diesel (since this seems to now have turned into that debate)? One has to KNOW what they are pulling, where they are going and the benefits of a diesel...or not. At almost $2 a gallon more than gas in many places, and a 10k up front cost "to have it" one has to weigh the benefits carefully. If you don't keep a vehicle for more than 200k miles (at the price points of engine and fuel make that 500k) you're wasting your money unless you NEED that power to pull what you have. JMO
