We've had ours a little over a year also. I full timed in our 384br with it up near St. Louis, and then we went down to florida for a few months. Both I think are the humidity capitals of the world. No problems.
We hang clothes outside when we can, on a thing I bought that attaches to the rv ladder. We'd do that even if we had a stackable.
Wife has learned the correct settings to use to get the clothes dry and unwrinkled when we use the dryer function.
