If it by chance goes into the same grey tank as the shower then better be a good-sized tank or connected to sewer beforehand, with the shower, washer & the dryer all draining into it, that's a lot of water.
Whether into the RV or down a drain, I think I'd go with the vented regardless.

I have one. I open the gray drain when we use it. It's not a big deal.
I didn't want to cut a 4 inch hole in the side of my rv. Both wife and I are happy with our decision to buy the splendide 7100xc.
Another plus is the storage we gain above the combo where the dryer would be in a stackable.
