On an Equalizer hitch you are SUPPOSED to have noise from the friction from the bars to the L brackets. The friction is what gives you the anti sway feature! If you lube it, you will cause more sway. I only hear the noise when turning or backing slowly in the CG. Not at highway speeds where the turns are slight.
