We live in the foothills area of SC. We’ve been here for nearly 15 years.

We are former full timers so we have traveled extensively in SC. Normally when in your neck of the woods our destinations (Myrtle Beach or Fayetteville, NC) are where we have parked the trailer.

One of our favorite RV parks in SC is at Lexington, very close to Columbia. We stay at the Barnyard RV park where we can walk right into the huge Barnyard flea market. Less than a mile down the street there is another flea market twice as large as the Barnyard.

Been to the Barnyard RV Park (had relatives that lived in Lexington) back in the days of our Jayco pop-up. Aside from the parks at Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach Travel Park our preferred), our favorite in SC is the Devil's Fork State Park.
