I'd check with the insurance company first. You probably have comprehensive coverage. Deductible is likely around $500.
Chance of getting a warranty claim after you hit a tree is pretty slim IMHO.
Manufacturers' warranty would cover the repairs to fix the locks if it were turned in for that reason.
