Make a note right away not to cook in the kitchen until you vent the stove to the outside. This was my biggest pet peave with the camper..other than that we love it so far. I cut the hole myself and the back of the vent on the range hood has a cut out made for it. I have NO IDEA why keystone cut this corner. We tried cooking in it and the smoke alarm went off right away.

I also put a fantastic fan in the vent above the living area and kitchen..does its job of pulling in air..but did not help with the indoor cooking.

Heck we didn't even notice the non vented hood until we got it home..just not somthing you think of!

The hood vent is about $25 bucks and maybe 2 hours of you time to install..there are plenty of good posts on here with step by steps on how to do it.
