This is a very good idea for folks that may not do it. We've done it for quite some time. I have lists for weekend trips; week or 2 trips and the longer months long trips. It really speeds up the getting ready part and takes most of the stress away from worrying about what you're forgetting.....because we know we will if we don't have a list
