I use the minimal amount to get antifreeze into the pump innards and to also get some into the lines even though I do blow the lines out. Some day I will buy or make the cheater hose that allows you to suck the antifreeze directly from the container by disconnecting the pump inlet. I have not had much difficulty in flushing what is in the bottom of the fresh water tank and flushing the lines. Do a full bleaching after anyway.
