Tucson, AZ

Twice while traveling around in southern AZ we found lots of rain. It sure made the highway driving much more aesthetic, with flowers blooming all along Interstates 8 & 10 from Yuma.

We were hoping to stay at the DMAFB FAMCAMP but it was still early in the spring and all they could offer us was W&E. We planned on exploring the area for at least 10 days so that was just not acceptable. We had left our winter camp in Yuma early because we were going all the way down to the TX gulf coast.

We looked at a lot of RV parks in the Tucson area and decided the Prince of Tucson RV Park was best located – right off I-10 – for the frequent trips we would be making in our explorations. It’s a very clean RV Park and well landscaped. We were in site 54, a 65’ back-in with paved parking beside the trailer for the TV.
