I have two Honda 2000i generators that I bought used off Craigslist for
$650 each, replaced the spark plug and did a oil change and they provide
enough power run together with a companion cable to provide the power
to run my one A/C unit, microwave, etc.

I went with the champion generator. It has a run time of 11 hours on gas and 34 hours on propane, in my price range.
