Getting back to the OP's original reason for his post, I would like to suggest a product called Bugs B Gone. Made by the folks at Seafoam, if you follow the directions, it really does work. I washed my truck yesterday. The grill on my Ram was covered with dead bugs. I parked it in the shade for a bit, made sure the bright work was cool to the touch, sprayed on the Bugs B Gone, let it sit for about a minute, and went to work with my brush hero and they all came off with no trouble. Highly recommend this product.
