Sooooo. We are mid travels between races. On our way to Bellingham, WA I just stopped at the Flying J in Jerome, ID. I just did the certified scale weight. Well now you know, just don’t eat too many burgers between trips!

As to how this related to the OP’s situation, you have 4,500#+ payload, the OP only has a 3,000# payload so would likely be starting out about 1,500# overweight.
