Someone even mentioned they run a “dehumidifier”....yes because they have TOO large of an AC.

Buy the smaller unit !!!!

As a non professional air conditioning expert, I doubt that you will be able to tell a whole lot of difference between a 15K and 13.5K BTU unit.
