Appreciate your concerns. The Lexus is basically a truck--body on frame construction. Measured tongue weight is 550 lbs (I bought a scale). There's about 1500 lbs of available payload each for the vehicle and the trailer for bodies, fuel and "stuff". (I KNOW that's not a total of 3,000 lbs!) I use a weight-distribution (E2) hitch, as I did with my two previous unibody tow vehicles, with smaller/lighter trailers.
