This is SO much fun...
We have done this also... In the pop-up group we belonged to we had ours on the last weekend before Halloween.. We had kid events plus. a site decoration contest. plus an adult washer contest. a chili cookoff.. the state park campground hosts were the judges and got to eat plenty of chili..Some one even made home made trophys, to give out.. but egos won out new clubs formed and the club folded after 4 yrs... But a couple of us were able to stay together, we camp together all the time and 2 years ago we took first place for site decoration at Carlyle Lake's, Il. Dam West campground. We changed themes this last year and didn't even place
We couldn't even get a site this year. So now that there are 8 couples we will probable head to the Ozarks area and do our Halloween thing...
