Seems like 1” - 1-3/8 to 1-1/2” covers most needs.
If it’s a hidden fastener point I may use 18ga staples.

I put ball shut off valves on mine to get rid of the plastic caps.
I also replaced FW drain with a ball valve.

I fix or replace anything in ours. I don’t trust dealer shops for any of my items.
