So to be clear. I already have a Eaz-Lift TR3 1,200lb hitch.

This should not be too heavy for the trailer. I was just reading that too heavy a hitch can cause problems with frame or axle issues....

Is a 1,200lb Weight Distribution Hitch too big for this unit or drop down to a 1000lb

Trailer is 6400lb dry and hitch weight 660lbs

Will carry full water tank (43 gal), 2 batteries.

70 lbs...
