Another misconception about Lithium batteries is that you need a new charger. Your power center might have a lithium setting.
If not, the you can use the old charger. You just won't reach 100%...

For about $300 you can get a 12v, 100ah lithium iron phosphate battery on Amazon. It has vastly more usable amps. It needs no water. These have almost zero internal power drain. And they weigh less...

My reply is for folks who are new to solar. Solar panes generally put out 18 to 20-volt power. A large panel can put out more -- my panel operates at 33 volts.
