Exactly like Chuckster said, but in your picture you should have another black cable to go from negative to negative on the batteries. That red cable goes positive to positive between batteries....

Have you checked the batteries? If it sat at the dealer for any amount of time the batteries are probably dead. I think most evrything not lp on the fridge is 12v. Maybe I'm wrong.

All of our camping is boondocking, riding SxS, but over by Luna mostly. Only had full hookups once and that was on vacation near Mt. Rushmore a couple years ago. Cloudcroft area is beautiful also.
