I would not advise leaving the gray tank drain open. We bought a second had hybrid years ago and ghe PO did that. It took me about an hour with a pressure washer to clean out the solids in that tank....

You should have a wall plate with a cable connector and a push button switch. The outlet sends 12v dc to the amplifier in the tv antenna on the roof. That switch needs to be off to watch cable.

Sorry but in reading this I'm going in circles. Are you trying to watch cable or OTA (over the air) tv? Have you changed the input on the tv thru the tv menue to match the signal source?
