Vent switch
You can replace the vent with a Fantastic Fan or similar that has a remote control.

Found it
After having the truck for a week I looked under the rear seat and SHAZAM there was the reducer sleeve. I have ordered a new shank and will be using the sleeve. Thanks for all the help.
