Just my two cents. If the travel trailer is less than 30 feet I think it's not a big deal. I have seen travel trailers that are now pushing 40 feet I think that's ridiculous long and way more...

No doubt that fifth wheel tows better but I towed travel trailers ranging in size from 19 foot to a 27-foot to finally a 33-foot with two slides. I never had an issue as long as there was no wind....
