Depending on where you live and camp you should seriously looked into COA campgrounds. Most are nice and spacious and half price if you have a lifetime senior pass ($80).

I hadcthe same issue. The fix is simply cutting out the damaged area and applying the patch over it. No need to cut out a long strip.

That looks like your fresh water tank over flowing. Does it happen only when connected to fresh water? Your water pump contains a check valve to prevent this and it sometimes gets sand or debris...
