It is a gear system , pulling what looks like 2 sq box steel on the bottom. Need to do what you said and check k it over. Only change was it sat for about 6 months closed up? 1st time I toke it out...

Have a 2014 outback with bad jellcoat on the front. Tow with a 2001 3/4 ton 4x4 HD 8.1L gas hog that I wouldn't trade. Does what I want without working hard to do it.
