So I did a couple repairs on exterior my Sprinter and when disassembling the trim and aluminum, I found that the sealant is not your ordinary silicone....my question is what's the best product to use...

Assuming you're referring to the standard 12v lights, you would need a multi meter or 12v test light, unscrew the fixture...
