Battery disconnect

Just bought a 2018 Cougar 366RDS. If the battery disconnect is in the "off" position, should the levelers still work ? Mine do and I would think they would not be connected directly to the battery....

rvpartsnation.com has the HB4500R, that's the Husky 4500 lb. jack, WITH REMOTE, for $239.95. received mine earlier this week.
