Thanks all, that video helps a lot.
By dented on the top I mean that there is an indentation where water sits. It doesn’t leak though, but I know I need to replace the whole top panel of the slide.

[Springdale Slideout] What are these?
Please excuse me, this is my first RV, so all this is new to me. There are two of these on the outboard bottom edge of my Slideout. When I first saw them I assumed they were for attaching supports....
