Stircrazy, You nailed it. Thank you. I must have hit the light button on the remote when I was putting the slides in. It looks like the remote is the only place this light can be turned on and off....

I have a 2016 Cougar 327res.
There's a round grouping of led lights (about 2.5 in dia.) just above the mirror in the front apparently to help with hook-up.
