I'm not great at plumbing, but could give it a try. Home Depot and Menards in my area do not have 1 1/2" ABS pipe, so I have a message out to a local RV shop to see if they have the parts.

Nice! I installed these steps a couple weeks ago. Makes it a lot easier for our two year old to navigate the steps. We also got the SafeStep accessory.

I use something similar with my griddle, bought the hose on amazon. And I would echo @travelintexans comment that it needs to connect directly to the grill and not the grill’s regulator.
