    chuckster57;
    just wanted to tell you that you are the member that I pay the mos t attention too.I have been on this forum for awhile and get tired of all the people that have to be right and loose track of the thing they are supposed to be doing. Helping others. We all have opinions,some are right ,some not so much. You always manage to stay civil. I'm not that much in control so I just don't engage. Thanks for your knowledge and contributions. Tom

    I saw in a recent post where you mentioned cable slides were more problematic, can you point me at a place where I can learn how to properly maintain that system.

    Hi Chuck, I wanted to ask you a question that I thought didn't need a thread post. How much of the weight of the stuff in the front storage basement pass through of a fifth wheel goes to the pin weight? I don't have a 5ver but my neighbor does and he needs help..lol. Is there a rule of thumb on this or are there two many variables? My just bought a Grand Design 14000lb 5ver and pulling it with a Dodge 2500 Diesle. His door sticker says 1906 lb capacity. I know he is way over that and I finally convinced him to go to the scale to see for himself what the pin weight is. BTW the dealer told him the weight spec was 2000 and convicted him he was ok. Thanks and I appreciate and respect all the help you offer folks like me. Jim

    I would like to personally think you for all that you do here along with the others. you where one of the first to welcome me here. I and the DW have recently bought a new trailer; it will probably be my last one who knows for sure. Wanted something that I could move around in a little better as I get older. I will always be fond of this site and keystone RVs but in the floor plan we where looking for I just could not find one that competed with the 297rsts Grand Design and the DW had the final say. I wanted you, Danny and John to know that I no longer own a Keystone even though I am still quite fond of them and had really good service. I hope to still stick around because of the great folks here and the great site ya`ll have. Thank you; you have been a great help.

    Don't know if you got my previous PM the other day so here it is.

    Knowing your experience and knowledge base with RV's is way better than mine, I've got a question. Looking to get a new battery for the 2014 Sprinter as the original is getting weak. Any suggestions? I want to stay with a single unit due to space limitations.

    Thanks

    Well it's been a while since I was last on this site or communicated with you. How all is well, I'm still working at 63. Hopefully when I'm 65 I can bail.

    I have been kicking around the idea to put a new battery in the Sprinter. It still has the original from when I purchased it in 2014. Any suggestions on type and size?

    Thanks

    Ok, not a problem but the poster was asking a question about his truck, so with that being said should we all not ask questions about why our trucks are not running right? Just thought that the Cummins forum would be the best place to get his question answered.
