I have the same trailer as you but 2015...I tow with a 2013 GMC 2500 HD 6.0 gas engine truck with no issues as far as chucking. I have quite a few posts on this site in regard to mods I have made to the trailer and tow vehicle. The most significant change I have made is the pin box but shock absorbers are huge. Go through some of my posts and read my comments, I believe they may help. I use the Mor/ryde rubber pin box and do believe it does what it says. I did contact them and ask for a higher rated shear spring as I felt the unit spec'd was not strong enough. Replacing it did improve the performance and I think I may even go up one more grade rating.
All shock absorbers are not created equal as well. I have comments on that in some of my posts.
It seems some of the so called experts on this site want to argue their opinions just for the sake of being heard, I'm not one of those and try to look to solutions to issues I have experienced.
