Inspector love the Huey. Retired CW4 here. Question: have you ever considered replacing your queen bed with a king. With wifey and dog its getting dicey. Dont see much in the forums on this topic. Thanks DanJ

    New Purchase Questions

I'm close to pulling the pin on a 2020 Keystone Montana High Country 295RL.
Since this will be our first new 5'er, I would like to get some input on a few questions before finalizing the deal.

    1. Extended Warranties: Are they worth considering? I'm assuming the dealer will be pushing them at closing. (Note: Just did a search and found that most members do not recommend)

    2. Price does not include transportation fee ($895.00), set-up ($495.00) and $215.00 for a battery-just one? Is this standard/reasonable?

    3. I will use a copy of the inspection checklist (provided on this site) before paying for the trailer.

    4. Only concern with the trailer is that it has a residential refrigerator-I've heard there have been some issues-as they prefer to sit on a stationary floor ( a house for example).

Anything else I should be aware of or request before I finalize the deal?

    Thanks in advance

    1. Extended Warranties: Are they worth considering? I'm assuming the dealer will be pushing them at closing. If so, are they like car warranties, where the dealer starts his pricing around $3000.00-but one can usually negotiate the price under $2000.00?

    2. Price does not include transportation fee ($895.00), set-up ($495.00) and $215.00 for a battery-just one? Is this normal/reasonable?
