I had my slide pulley assembly rip off the wall, I had posted yesterday about what had happened with pictures. While searching, I found your post. Mine was mounted on a piece of 3/8" plywood block with a 1/4" panel shim at the base of the block. I like to look of your repair / mod. May I ask what the previous base was, and did you attach the assembly to the base before attaching the plate to the wall or did you attach the assembly to the plate and wall together. Any info would be awesome. Thanks in advance. Dan
