Just bought one of the last Vantage 19UL's out there.

Got a terrific deal on it. 55% of MSRP. Not off, of. Pick it up tomorrow.

I like the simplicity of it, and that it is different than most out there. Layout seems great for weekend trips. Roof seams appear to be OK for now. Since this will be stored in my warehouse when not in use, it should stay in good shape. If not, I'll just have the seams redone.

Congrats. Vantage is a great model. You might consider joining the Vantage group under the community button.

Why do you say one of the last ones? Are they no longer making that size, or are they dropping the Vantage line completely?

Chartrand,

I don't think anyone had a clear handle on what Keystone plans for the Vantage line. Currently, on the website, all models of the Vantage are listed as "stock only" meaning that they can be purchased if the dealer has any in stock, but none are available for special order from the factory. Essentially, I suppose, that means they aren't making any more, but are moving out the last of the available models. Whether there are any plans to reintroduce the line or to build more is anyone's guess. Keystone isn't saying what they plan to do.

From what I see, and as others have commented, it's a "poor man's Airstream" There are reports of a number of buyers getting great discounts on the available models, so what "was a good buy" seems to have become an "excellent investment" for those that are in the market for a nice trailer at an affordable price.

I've had a couple dealers basically have different variations on the story.

One told me it was a short production run from the beginning - that they only intended to have a limited run for only a year or two. I find this kind of laughable.

I had a couple others say that it just didn't sell for the price point they were expecting, so the dealers wouldn't order them.

Universally though, dealers were telling me they are done.

It's a shame really. I'll give my report on my initial time with it in another thread.
