Ac to Dc switch on fireside

Just bought a 2013 fireside and tried to turn on lights with battery connected. But nothing happened an tried to check charge on the gauge but no light was showing. Is there a switch that have to turn on to use the battery power?

I don't know specifics of your model but there is usually a battery switch located near the battery box. Trace the cables.
