The DH wants to go to Death Valley, but I think it is already too hot?

We are from Florida - we know from hot, but I don't like it much if it is over
100 degrees........

The weather there for the next week or two will be in the 80's and it will still be okay. We like going there in January but the wind like to blow a little around that time. Go to painted canyon and Scotty's Castle, you'll really enjoy it.
