This site has been experiencing very slow performance from multiple computers for me. Is there some technical problem being experienced? Has anyone had issues?

I have not had this issue.

Maybe someone else here can speak to that.

Same issue for me too, gypsy... has been for a few days. I thought it was our local internet problems again. :o

Slow from home... Not slow from work.

Other forums from home run normal speed...

I suspect a routing problem.

The forum has also been slow here --- thought it was due to the cold. I'll send a note to our forum administrator and ask him to look into it.
Thanks for bringing this up.

I have not seen a significant reduction in performance, but I will run a few test and reach out to the web hosting provider to see if there is anything they can do. I did see a few Database connection issues in the last few days and I suspect they might be having an issue.

I had some issues yesterday and earlier today. All seems fine now. I did reboot my router and computer, tho.

I've given up trying to view the site from home whereas all other sites I frequent load as normal. I'm having no issues loading this site from my work 'puter. Go figure. I give!!

My experience has been very inconsistent. Sometimes great like now, sometimes returning a connection error.

What about the other folks who posted here about slow performance? Have you noticed any improvement since this morning when the problem was first mentioned?

Thanks alien scones for your update. There seems to be an improvement here.

If you reported a problem, could you give us a quick, short update? Thanks.

It is much more responsive today -- seems to be back to normal.

So I sent a support request to the web host provider yesterday outlining the issues I was seeing and hearing about and finally got a response.

Thank you for contacting Online Support. With the information provided, you are having trouble with the speed of your site. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue has been addressed and should be resolved at this time. If you continue to experience delivery or access problems please let us know and we would be happy to assist you further. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

According to them they have resolved the issue, what the issue was remains a mystery to me since you all now know as much about what they found as I do.

Please let me know if anyone else experiences any further issues. If it does occur again I will escalate and get someone on the line that can tell me more as to what is occurring.

I've been blaming it on ATT DSL. Of course, I blame everything on ATT.
