We own a Cougar 26SAB and travel with that since 14 months.

After 13 months (and one month after the warranty expired) we have a weak spot right in the middle of the floor. The problem came over night and we are sure to have a construction problem. The spot is growing every day and is about six square feet tall right now. The floor is kind of elastic and moves about one inch deeper if you walk over it.

A RV technician had a look at that, finding out that there is a big tank right under the weak spot and it would take several labor hours just to get a diagnosis for the repair.

Does anyone have a similar experience with such a problem?

We feel very uncomfortable and are even scared to use our trailer.

It sounds like you have a water leak problem.I would find out where the leak is and get the floor fixed as it will only get worse. My 2005 Kodiak floor did the same thing and got to the point that kitchen cabinets were pushing the counter top up past the window. The person that I gave the RV to had to remove the cabinets and replaced most of the floor, seams that the OSB that is used in the manufacture of the RV was only moisture proof and it absorbed the water like a sponge. If there is some sort of tank under the floor right there make shore that the tank is not leaking or any damage that might have been done when built there are reports that tanks of all type have been repaired with silicon sealant at the factory instead of replacing them.
