We have a 2008 Fuzion, Toyhauler. The decals are all curling up and look awful. I've tried everything anyone has suggested, to remove the sticky stuff the decals leave. How can we get rid of it ?

use a heat gun, per the dealer, sometimes a flexible piece of plastic helps get the backing off or started to start peeling it off.

We've discussed this a number of times in previous threads. The search function should help you find detailed discussions.

There are a number of speciality products available most anywhere that will remove vinyl decal adhesive. You'll find them in grocery stores and home improvement centers.

I've had good luck with plain old WD-40. Just remember to wash the area with soap and water after removing the adhesive.

I had the same issue on our 2008 Montana. Go to an autobody suppy shop and buy spray on decal remover. It costs about $25.00 for a quart container with a sprayer but works like magic. They also have a spray on decal positioner that allows you to spray on what looks like a soapy solution, position a large decal and get it straight and level, then just use a window squeegee to get the air bubles out. Again amazing stuff.

For positioning new decals, you can just mix up a weak solution of dishwasher soap in water and pour it into an old spray bottle. It will work just as well and cost a lot less. I've been applying large vinyl and reflective decals to cars and trucks for 35 years with this method.

On the large vinyl decals, if you apply them with the wet method, get yourself a rubber roller to get the water and air bubbles out. (Foam rollers are not firm enough to push the water and air bubbles.) Work from the center out to the edges of the decal in all directions. I always had a "brayer" in my tool kit just for this purpose. You can find them at craft stores, probably in the stamping aisle.

I also found them on Ebay just now for $8, including shipping. Well worth the investment.

I've tried everthing that has been suggested to no avail. But I will go to the body repair supply and try that.

did you get new decals?? I am trying to order some for mine right now, i just got the schematic of the trailer with all the part numbers. I am checking around all the dealers now for the cheapest price. what a hassle!!!!

If you're ordering your decals individually rather than as a complete set, you may find some of them on Ebay. I found a number of decals that would work for my RV that way. Haven't needed any and so haven't ordered any, but did some checking for other people on the forum and found a couple of Ebay sources. If you're interested, go to Ebay and do a search for Keystone decals, RV decal, and vinyl decal. You'll get well over 30,000 hits, then it's try to refine your search. Another possibility is to do a Google search by decal part number (since you have them) often they will come up at an RV salvage shop for a lot less than retail.

On Ebay, there's a complete set for an Outback for $180, and several complete sets of "generic" decals to do the curves on both sides and the front/back for less than $150. On one set, bidding was at $30 and less than an hour to go. While these aren't exactly the same as the original, if you're not too picky, you might be able to save several hundred dollars.

No, we will not replace them. Why? After just 4 years they just start coming off again. No decals look better than that.

X2 on the WD-40. Will remove tar, tree sap, gum, as well as adhesives. Then a little Dawn to remove the WD-40

I just got 3 new of the word fuzion last week. $100 for all 3. The front one is redesigned, it looks pretty cool. When it gets warmer I will put them on and post up pics.

try some goo b gone, works great and its not as hard on the paint as some of the other glue removers. thats what we use in my body shop and it can be found in your hardware store i have seen it in dollar stores as well.

Just got new decals for our Hauler and thats what we use to help get the goo off, don't forget about useing lots of elbow grease!!!(tx)
