"bouncey: My tongue jack on our Nu-2-us Passport started skipping when I would lower the tongue. After checking, I found that the previous owner had NEVER greased the gears on it:( The gear teeth are worn badly and even greasing it has not helped. For Christmas, my wonderful DW bought me a new electric tongue jack to replace it!!! :D:D

"bouncey: I actually got the new electric jack installed this past Saturday. How cool!!! It's a little slower than manually raising or lowering, but NO bending over and NO backache!!

I know what you mean eanddrice. My tongue is almost three foot off the ground in our steep driveway! That was too much cranking for me. Replaced it with a Barker 3500 24" stroke recommended by member Mighty Ming, worth every penny!
