Hi just wondering if anyone has replaced carpet with vynal, dealer says you can't do it because of the slide seal. I have a 2002 Montana 288 RLS fiver with 3 slides. the concern is the main slide when it is extended would you end up with the joint being exposed, as with the carpet there is a flap that covers the joint. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Hello. One of our other wonderful people on here has done lots of projects in his trailer an took pictures of his work an gives info on the jobs. Here is the link to his info from the forum. Hope this help. I bought a 2002 cougar fifth wheel an they added hard wood flooring to the main floor. Looks great but that is too thick an we get rub marks in floor when slide comes in put down plastic slides to stop it. Good luck. Post pictures please.
