Ok
I have a 2003 Tundra SR5 4.6 L I Force v8 with 7500 lb towing capacity
Wheel base 128 truck weight 6200 lbs GCWV 11,800

If i did the math correctly this tell me Ican safely tow a 27 ft trailer @ 5600 lbs total combined weight .
The 2 coaches i have in mine are the bullet 248 rks 4910 dry & 500 lb hitch
28'10' oal
The bullet 246 rbs 4765 dry &495 hitch 28'3" oal
My concern is the 1'3" & 1'10' oal of coaches
Should i be concerned about the extra 1foot 3inches & 1 foot 10 inches OAL?
Thanks in advance

IMHO I wouldn't worry about an extra foot or so. I'm towing a 32' trailer with a Hensley for sway control and it tows great. Tundra is a horse when it comes to towing. I'd be far more concerned about violating axle weights and payload but with those trailers you should be fine. Excellent sway control hitch is a must, however.

Are the weights you noted from the brochure? If so, they are going to be understated. My hitch wgt is 200+ lb over the brochure wgt.

Those weights are a bit iffy. My brochure weight is about 4900 dry. When loaded lightly for a trip, it's about 5700 lbs. Add a thousand to your dry weights for a more real world number. You'll be right up to your max for towing.

My advertised tongue weight is 590. When I weighed in at 5700 lbs, my tongue weight was actually 590. However, I had a weak tow vehicle and was trying to off load the tongue down to 11% of the trailer weight.

If you calculated your max trailer weight as 5600, then the tongue should weigh at least 600 (11%). Yep, manufacturer specs don't favor a properly balanced travel trailer which should have between 10 and 15 percent resting on the tongue.

You'll have to work backwards from payload to find out the true max weight of your trailer, as payload is typically the limiting factor. FreePayload divided by .125 will give you a more accurate max trailer weight. In my case, it's nowhere near the advertised 10,000 lb. capacity of my MaxTow package.

Yep...same here. My Tundra is rated at 9600 lb or so (new calculation method) or 10,400 or so (old calculation method) for towing. TT is 7700 or so....a good 2,000 or so under max towing limit but payload is maxed out with 950 lb or so hitch wgt. There is virtually no way I could tow a 9500 TT and be under payload.
