has anybody ever used the add-a-step brand steps we were thinking about trying one of these for our bull dog because some sites we go to are just a little to high for his short legs and he is 73 pounds now and just alittle to heavy to have to keep picking him up:eek:

Our yellow lab has similar issues due to a leg injury. We bought this ramp for her and use it all the time at home and on the road. It's an extension model and collapses to about half the size seen in this sales pic:

Lot's of different solutions are commercially available:

Petsmart has 24 different ramps and steps products available.

I had to do a search to see what add-a-step brand is. looks good but it doesn't look like it's adjustable. We bought a folding step from CW that has several adjustable heights. It solved our problem for us and our dog. IMO, I think it's important to have the ability to adjust height based on need.

We used a PetStep ramp with many of our older dogs, works great. Easy to clean, easy to carry, easy to set up.

we use this for our older Lab also, works great, we just set it up at the garage door of our TH and he goes in and out that door.

Great idea!! We have a lab pup that we will be bringing with us once we get our rig and I know this will come in handy!

My English Bulldog is 73lbs as well, the back door steps into the garage fold down lower than the main door, but we do have a folding step from CW that is used for main door steps and works great!
