Just got a new Raptor and am currently 1 7/8" nose down with my hitch at its highest setting. I'm probably going to put in airbags but haven't had time to do it yet.
It appears that my kingpin can come down another "notch". There are bolts running through the 2 top holes but there is a 3rd, unused hole at the bottom. I am assuming it is kinda like my hitch, pull out the bolts and drop the pin piece down to that level.

2 questions:
1. Is that correct?
2. If so, what are the torque values for those nuts?

Thanks!

Yes, you can adjust the pin box up or down as long as there are holes to allow that to happen. I did adjust my 5th Airborne hitch that way. According to Lippert, the torque for a 5/8" bolt is 150 lbs. (90 lbs for 1/2 " and 275 for 3/4") I am assuming you have a Lippert pin box.

Perfect, thank you.
You have been a wealth of information (on all topics) my man. I'm going to try to come up with a question that you can't answer... :D

Thanks again.

Please - don't ask any more questions. ;) I like to quit while ahead. :D Now .... if you ask something really simple, you will soon find out how simple I really am. Just ask hankpage. :)
