I need to add a 12 volt switch in the bottom of one of my cabinets but need the extra thick mounting plate since there is no room for the switch in those false bottom cabinets. The cabinet already has a double switch installed, but I need a third.

I can't tell you how many online searches I've done with no success. Then it occurred to me, try the forum!

Thanks to all in advance! "bouncey:

Not sure if this is what you need. I needed a light switch on an outer wall, so I bought 2 12v switches with housing, took one of the housings and turned it backwards(butting it up against the other housing). Ran the wire in plastic conduit. Bought the switches at local rv store. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/01/a3epejeg.jpg

How about a pic of what you already have and want to expand. Might help.

Try a Place called Bontragers RV Surplus just east of White Pigeon Mi. on highway 12. They have everything you can imagine for your RV, They should have what you need plus a whole lot more. Depending on where you live, it should be only a 1 to 2 hour drive, but it will be your worth while to go. Once you get in there you will be amazed at all the stuff they have. Here is link bontragers.com. We make a yearly trip to the Shipshewana flee market and I always include them in the trip.

I just ran across this post searching for something totally different, but I found this site that has a multitude of RV OEM looking type equipment. Prices don't look TOO bad, but like most hardware stores, "We got what they don't, but you gotta pay for it"

It took me some time to get back to this, but I found what I needed at JR Products web site. I was able to order some of their stuff on Amazon, but the
3 gang switch plate & bezel I had to order direct.

Thanks to all who helped!
